bio

Jacquelyn Tepper is a freelance dance artist from Los Angeles, CA working across commercial and contemporary scenes as a dancer, choreographer, and movement director. Jacquelyn recently worked with LA breakout star WTRGRL on her UK shows and is currently touring with UK queer dance-pop icon LYNKS on his headline tour. Their most recent film performance work "To Hold My Love" premiered to a sold out audience in London and is now on the dance film festival circuit. With a growing body of work for film, they danced for Holly Blakey's Fact Magazine commission of "PHANTOM", Lea Tirabasso's "A Million Eyes" shown in London and Luxembourg, and Malik Nashad Sharpe's "TWO TRACKS AND A MIX". They have choreographed for Aga Ujma music videos (currently unreleased) “345” and “ House of Silver”, movement directed for Mandy, Indiana's music video "Drag" and danced on Kay Young, Lynks and Night Tapes music videos. Jacquelyn is an avid collaborator, bringing their unique style, various movement languages, speed for choreography pick-up, incredibly strong work ethic and energy to all research processes involved in developing new work with an artist. Across London and Los Angeles they have trained in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, heels, African, floor-work, and previously danced on two hip-hop crews in Chicago.
